It is a bit expensive but good for foundations and large cement slabs. May concrete companies have a minimum order amount and ready to work with.

Bulk dry materials: This type of concrete is normally used by those who have experience mixing concrete. It is useful for large products that one does not mixing a lot of cement themselves.

When using a decorative concrete, the following lists the basic types of concrete:

1 .Etching Pre-Designed Concrete Slabs: This type of concrete contains etchings of various designs through the surface of the concrete. This type of concrete is often used on walls. Etchings can be varying designs such as a classical design or a more contemporary design. The choice depends on how well it will go with the design of the rest of the room.

2. Stamping Concrete: This type of concrete that has a pattern on it known as a "stamp." It is popular for use on concrete floors. It adds a pleasant decor to the room and is very affordable. People will add this type of concrete on top of their old concrete.

3. Sandblasting Concrete: This type of concrete application involves blasting small sand-like particles on the concrete surface to give a more texture feel and look. You will have to use a sandblasting device and wear a mask to prevent inhalation of the blasting particles. It is a bit expensive, but it looks very nice when the blasting is complete

When choosing the appropriate concrete for your project, you not only have to pick the right concrete for the project, but you have to know what type of concrete is normally used for projects like yours. As well, you need to know if you can mix it yourself and apply it, or have a professional do it, and how much concrete you need.
