Business discipline is the greatest issue Multi Level Marketers confront and stops millions of people from succeeding in the MLM industry. Of course, there are numerous factors that must be put together to achieve long-term success and profitability in a home based business; however, even an individual with the blueprint to massive success will only fail if he cannot take consistent daily action toward his goals. It is necessary to examine how to become truly free by strengthening will power and discipline in order to succeed in the key income-producing tasks in business.

Will power may be defined as the level of one's inner strength to overcome difficult tasks, whereas self discipline is the decision to continue exercising one's will. Everyone's will power fluctuates in strength like a muscle; the more it is used, the higher the power. An example of will power use may be the choice to perform a task at home instead of sitting on the couch to watch television. On the other hand, an untrained muscle tires easily. Thus, after finishing the first chore, it would be harder to choose to continue exercising the will's muscle on a further chore. Keep this in mind and exercise the will gradually. For example, rather than deciding to complete a chore that is four hours in length, break it up into 2 sessions of two hour chunks at the beginning. Additionally, for each major task, break it up into increments. If the task is to mow the grass, then the first step should be to change into work clothes. Step two is to move outside to the mower, and so on. Compartmentalize things down into manageable chunks. Ask the question, "Can I get to the dresser?" "Yes. Okay, now what?" Choose to do the right thing one small step at a time. Will power may be exercised any time from any location, so exercise using it by exerting self-control and performing the most desirable activities.

First decide on exactly what needs to be done each day to expand your business. This may be to publish an article each day or to make a certain number of telephone calls to prospects. Decide on exactly when to begin and finish work each day just like what would happen on a job. The finish time is necessary because it speeds up the rate of completion, which frees the person from becoming a slave to his business and maintains balance in life. Jot down the newly created schedule and the daily TO-DO list, then post it in obvious locations. Based off of the work schedule, decide on a realistic goal to accomplish within one month, 3 months later, half a year later, and 12 months later. Then jot it down and post it in a highly frequented location. Now use will power and self discipline to accomplish the tasks written on the TO-DO list. As the will is strengthened through self discipline, it will produce an increasing effect that will propel you and your business to abundance and success.
