Although I am sure the playa paraiso hotel is a nice place to stay, I have never stayed there and according to what I have found, not many other people enjoy this place either. There are reviews about good staff and friendly customers staying there but the other reviews are not so great.
Some people report that the air conditioners are very loud and some people even say that they stayed in one room for a few nights and paid extra for this room because it was suppose to be a nicer room with more features, then on the third night they stayed in a regular room, only to find that they were both exactly the same way.
Out of five stars this hotel has only gotten three stars. This is only through three peoples reviews. Some people said that the food was good and the breakfast was filling. People also stated that it was a perfect place to stay when it comes to a business meeting and the mall is only across the street from this Hotel. They are also reported as saying the food is wonderful at the restaurant that is connected to the hotel.
The beach is suppose to be a shoreline river of salt and people say that you better not expect to relax on the beach and drink a cold one. The air conditioning was window units which was not so bad except they are reported to drown out all the noise on the inside and outside of the building.
The televisions in this hotel are suppose to be a LCD which has a horrible picture and you can not hear because of the air conditioner. Another person rated the wifi bad because it drops in and out the whole time you are using it.
The sheets are stained up and if you are going to stay there it is advised to bring your own sheets. Another review that I have found says that this hotel has a sewer smell coming up through the vents. I suppose this could be a problem they would have fixed by now but who knows. I find this a funny review to read but, someone even reported that their hand towel was gone after only one day.
This could have been their mishap because they just laid it down somewhere and could not find it again. Maybe they were a messy person and could not keep their room half way decent. So, a lot of people will say that they would not stay at this motel if they ever had to again because of the way the maid service was. It is advised to plan everything ahead and to not stay in this hotel.
