Where I live, car insurance can cost someone more depending on the color of their vehicle. I think this is silly but they say that red is a more sporty color and less people are likely to see it because it is such a common color.

I do not know how much insurance would have cost for me when I was sixteen because I did not get my drivers license until I was eighteen. This is because I did not graduate, So if you want to get your license make sure that you stay in school and graduate.
Before you get car insurance you should always check with multiple car insurance providers to make sure that the one you are going with has the cheapest rates. Sometimes you can get pretty good deals on car insurance in Texas just by looking online. Just because the insurance company is not in your home town this does not mean that you can not get it, this just means you will have to have an active credit card so that you can pay your insurance online.
