Are they original?
Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) toner cartridges are designed by printer manufacturer. It functions only with some specific models of printer. These come with new laser printer. There are several compatible toner cartridges that use OEM parts. They meet the standards for OEM cartridges at a cheaper price. But they are made only for some specific brand.
Sometime recycle cartridge parts are assembled to form remanufactured laser toner cartridges. They are the cheapest cartridges but they are less reliable in terms of quality.
What to choose?
Few years ago, only the OEM toner cartridges were sold in the market but as the cheaper cartridges became available, people preferred to go for remanufactured and compatible laser toners. But it is said that OEM cartridges are best to use.
