Giving a gift to someone is just a way of saying you love them and isn't something that should only be done on special occasions or holidays. You will actually be more appreciated by giving for no reason at all because few people do it. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant; you can choose inexpensive gifts just to show your love.

A very cool thing to do for that special someone is to give them a gift certificate to their favorite store. If you have someone who likes electronic gadgets and video games you could get them a gift certificate to a place like Best Buy. If that special someone likes candles and bath products you could get them one from Bath and Bodyworks. The idea is to make it something special.
Make a music CD comprised of songs that your partner really likes or songs that have significant and special meaning for both of you as a couple, this makes a thoughtful and inexpensive gift that really show you care. With the software that comes on any computer and a blank CD, for under less than ten bucks you could easily use your computer to create a personalized CD of meaningful songs.
As I said at the beginning, don't wait for special occasions to give gifts, surprise your partner and let them know how special they are to you by giving thoughtful gifts that reflect their interests.
