From the makers of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, none other than Capcom delivers this sequel to the first one. Lost planet 2 tells the story of what is happening ten years after the first game. Capcom has announced that Lost Planet 2 is going to be available for purchase by the middle of May 2010. Several game player enthusiasts are anxiously waiting for the big release. From the sneak peeks and trailers one can clearly tell that this game is going to surpass the first one but can only you truly judge its worth after the whole game is played and all the levels are completed.
Capcom has always released fine titles with good game plays. This story about the game is exciting especially the fact that the plot happens in this imaginary world. There is new equipment and a machine in the latest version like the vital suits. The story is divided into six sections and every section has a hero or a main character in which you can play. There are many boss battles as the level progresses in Lost planet 2. The plot takes place in snow, jungles, desert and even space. Lost planet 2 makes fighting very unique as almost all the terrains are covered. With an average rating of 8 out of 10 before the game has even been released says something about the quality of the game and the intensity of the battles and graphics.
Graphics are very detailed and very pleasant. The visual gives a feel and imparts a battle field environment around the game player. Explosions, weapons, machines and enemies are very detailed and are intelligently made. The player controls are also pretty easy to handle. A modern warfare scenario is created using the graphics. The backgrounds and the environment are all new and there are enough items scattered around to destroy and to give a true feel of destruction.
Background music and sound effects are incredible as usual. Sound and background music is carefully selected to provide that adrenaline rush to those playing this game. Sound effects are apt and these effects vary with various new weapons. Sound effects and background music have been strategically designed to provide the game with a high level of intensity and to give those playing the feel that they are inside the game partaking in actually shoot and destroy setting.
The greatest feature in Lost Planet 2 will be its split screen player mode where anyone can join in on the fun with you and you can all play together on one screen. You can also "call for help" online as you are teaming up with your friends to assist you in your fight against the bad guys with this multi player option. Lost Planet 2 is set to be released on May 11, 2010 throughout North America and Europe and on May 20, 2010 in Japan. This game will be available on all major gaming consoles to include Xbox, Playstation 3, and on your PC.
