There are substantial differences between some and not so may among others. Televisions are like any other product; you get what you pay for. Therefore the more expensive a television is the more likely it is going to last a long time and have the features that you would like. One of the most common things to fail on a television is the power supply. The main difference you are going t notice between the cheap brands and the expensive brands is the quality of their power supplies.
A third thing that you need to be aware of is the televisions warranty. Usually you have to buy this separately and this can be a good idea. It is not uncommon for the power supplies to go out as mentioned before and the fact that the manufacturer is willing to offer one says a lot about the product.
