Not having a license can be the source of so many problems. To start with it is illegal to drive without a license on national roads and any violation of this rule can get you arrested and imprisoned. But one thing that is quit upsetting about not having a valid license is that you will be unable to get insurance. With most insurance companies being required to ask for a valid license from prospective clients getting insurance has been added to the long list of problems that come with owning motor vehicle. However, car insurance with no license is actually possible.
For those of you who have had your licenses revoked or suspended for not having insurance there is still a shade of hope. Because of the very fact that your drivers license has been cancelled or suspended means that you cannot be expected to have insurance. Therefore when you apply for an insurance contract make sure you take valid proof that outlines the revocation or cancellation.
In a lot of scenarios the Department of Motor Vehicles will only give you back your license the very moment you buy an insurance policy. Insurers will not turn you away if you prove this because they are always dealing with issues like this on a daily basis.
And after the insurer has agreed it is then up to you to ensure that you retrieve your license and submit it to the insurer for his/her own paperwork. But if you do not submit it the insurance contract will be cancelled indefinitely until you submit the license.
Disabled persons are one of the very few people who are not expected to have the much required license. Since disabled people cannot drive they cannot be expected to have proof of their ability to drive. But instead of furnishing your own license you must at least furnish that of the person who is going to be driving for you. Without such a persons license you will simply be turned away.
In addition to the disabled elderly people are also not required to meet the license requirement. When you step into the insurers office he/she will immediately shift his/her mindset. Again you are expected to provide proof that your designated driver does have a license.
As a teenage driver who only has a provisional license it is still possible to get insurance without a valid license. But you must make sure that you furnish proof of your license after a certain given period of time otherwise the insurance policy will be revoked.
