You could get a citation or even have your boating licenses removed if someone on your boat is breaking the boating laws or safety rules. You should never allow alcohol on the boat because this is illegal and very unsafe. It is never safe to be drunk when you are on the water.
If you are planning to have fun on the water this summer with your pleasure craft then make sure that anyone who might get on your boat is educated on boating safety. It is also a good idea to go over some of the boating safety rules with your passengers before you start up your boat.
