They can help you generate keyword lists, tell you how many people are searching for specific keyword terms, what the most popular terms are and some keyword software programs can even give you an idea of how many affiliates are making money using a specific keyword and what product they are promoting. This can save that average affiliate marketer HOURS of research.
If you are looking into affiliate marketing, keywords are probably the most important part of any campaign. If you have high traffic, low cost keywords and you are promoting a site that is selling something worthwhile and well put together, you will likely be successful. You need to spend time researching the keywords you are thinking of using and brainstorming to come up with more relevant keywords.
