Everybody needs to go camping. Connecting with nature and breathing in the fresh air, whether on a mountain or in the desert, is of life. Millions of people all over the world get cooped up in their houses and at their jobs day in and day out and suddenly reach the end of their ropes. You know that stir crazy feeling being in an office. There seems to be a switch inside of us all that is flipped and we suddenly need to reconnect with our roots. Camping is a way to do that exact thing. Standing outside under a galactic masterpiece of light and wonder does good for the soul and is healthy for the mind.
There are many different ways to camp. The manliest, most admirable way, as portrayed on television by such figures as Survivor Man and Man Versus Wild, to camp is called "roughing it." This term is constantly used as a reminder to whiney new boy scouts who are new to the whole experience. Everyone is quick to say that "roughing it" is the only way to camp. It basically involves packing and using only the essentials for survival which are: food, shelter, and water. While there can be little embellishments here and there in the coolness of a tent or the preparation of food, overall these types of campers will insist on squatting in the woods and swatting at mosquitos. While there is a lot to learn in order to successfully master this type of camping, it is not necessary to do so to at least get close to nature.
Florida RV parks offer a convenient way for hesitant campers to relax in the comfort of a home away from home and still enjoy the beauties of nature and the excitement of the good outdoors. RVs are big motorhomes, also known as campers, which are usually self-propelled or pulled by another vehicle. They can be hooked up to electricity and water and essentially function as a mini version of your house with all the comforts you need from home. These trailers usually have a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and sleeping areas. Ranging from compact to the luxuriously spacious, RVs are bought for reasons other than camping. Popular with people who travel for a living (actors, scientists, politicians, etc.), Florida RV parks offer beautiful surroundings where you can hook up your home away from home for just a small price.
