Isn't one of the main reasons we travel is to try new foods? Each geographic area of the worlds has their own unique blends of spices, flavors, meats and sauces. You don't have to travel much to realize you have been missing some exotic flavors!

Whether your food travels take you to San Francisco Restaurants with amazing views or to Sweden with rich savory sauces, the more you travel the more you realize there is a plethora of delicious fare waiting to be had. The more adventurous you are the more amazing food awaits you. If you happen to be in Chicago, try the House of India for flavors never before imagined. It is not for the faint of heart, the flavors are hot and spicy and may leave your mouth a little numb, but the flavors are worth the heat.

If you find yourself in Denmark, try the delis. Good food is for the taking all over Europe but some of the little hole-in-the-wall delis make the best sandwiches. First off, the breads are to die for, cream cheese, fresh veggies served with the creamiest yogurt you can image. It is worth the flight. The Germans can whip up a mean meat dish with rich flavors. The Italians make food only before imagined in your dreams. Cheese, breads, pasta, white sauce, red sauce, the possibilities are endless.

If you happen to be stopping over in Washington DC there is a little local place called Paladins (pronounced Al a dins) that has amazing Mediterranean food, shwarmy chicken and yogurt based pita sauces. Portland has a great Mediterranean place also by the farmers market. A little place owned by a woman from Ethiopia of all places.

When it comes to good food, the world is your university. Try new things, find out what kinds of foods the area is known for and go for it with gusto. Do a little research, read the reviews. You are rarely disappointed. Do not tour the world eating at American chains! While the Cheesecake Factory has wonderful food, step out of your comfort zone for a new adventure in eating.

It is hard to beat the pastries and crepes in Paris. Little finger eclairs that cost a fortune and make you weep with delight. Those are the things that years later make you call to mind your trip. San Francisco Restaurants with stunning views and New York delis, there is something out there to tempt and tantalize your taste buds.
