Georgia is truly beautiful. It is especially so in the spring. The Smoky Mountains would be a very good choice for a place to rent a cabin for a spring vacation. There are cabins of all sizes available if you get your reservations in on time, either for a family trip or for college students who want to get away for their spring break. If you live close, you could drive, however, the Atlanta airport is convenient for anyone flying into the state and also has car rental available there.
Cabins are furnished with with all sorts of luxuries like satellite television, and in cabin washers and dryers so that you do not have to pack as many clothes or find someplace else to wash them. They are equipped with barbeque grills for grilling steaks or ribs or chicken, to save money on eating out, but there are also many very nice restaurants in the area. There are many hiking trails in the area, and also there are caves to explore if that is what you would like to do. There are also other family friendly activities in the area. Just being able to enjoy the outdoors after a long and cold winter would be worth the trip.
Maybe a family reunion for Easter would be a nice idea, especially if there are brothers and sisters who have not seen each other or their children in a while. And if that does not fit into everyone's schedule right now, check to see if Thanksgiving would be a good time to rent a cabin in the Smokey Mountains to enjoy being together. The weather is still nice in the fall. You might just be able to catch the fall colors while they still are at their peak. Fresh linens are provided for each bedroom every day, and some of the cabins have as many as six bedrooms for large families or even a trip with friends.
The cabins have decks with swings and rocking chairs for enjoying the outdoors every day. The larger cabins have either four full or three and a half bathrooms for your convenience. And all are equipped with fireplaces for nice evenings sitting in the living room playing some games. Make your reservations by going on line to see what is available in the whole area.
