The Chicago Auto Show is the Nations largest and longest-running auto show with more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space. The cars keep rolling out and auto-savvy Chicagoans gather in mass. With everything offered from luxury cars, sports cars, electric cars, family sedans, hybrids, trucks, sport-utility vehicles, convertibles and mini-vans there is something to catch your eye. Many auto dealers are represented at the show with Chicago Hyundai, Honda, Chrysler, Chevrolet, Kia, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, and Volkswagen. An auto show to remember.
There are many Chicagoans to purchase those autos with a population of almost 3 million residents in the City and 9.7 in the greater Chicago area, knows as "Chicago land" to the locals.
Chicago offers world premier culture events from Broadway musicals and theater, to art museums and two renowned comedy troupes. The Chicago Shakespearean Theater and the Victory Gardens Theater have received Tony Awards. The Lyric Opera of Chicago performs in the second-largest opera house in North America with an astounding 3.563 seats. More astounding it has sold at 100% capacity for the past 16 years! Chicago put music on the map with everything from Styx, Cheap Trick, Buddy Guy, REO Speedwagon and, of course, the band Chicago in the Rock genre. Chicago is known the world over for its blues, soul, jazz and gospel.
From the architecture, culture, sports, auto shows, music and dining, it is hard to beat Chicago for a summer visit or as a place to call home.
