Personalized baby blankets could be treasured gifts for babies and well into their adulthood. For many years these blankets have provided babies the feeling of comfort and security. Mothers have often found these to be their loyal partners in giving care and keeping away those bad days. They have also proven that blankets become so much a part of their baby's growing up days, so much so that babies identify themselves with these simple but meaningful gift ideas.
After I delivered my first baby girl I got a lot of gifts. Funny enough most of them were baby blankets and some special Personalized Baby Blankets. Since it was my first baby and I had little experience with it I was not so what the difference from one blanket to the next was. Sure, I can use a few but all of these, what on earth am going to do with those blankets. I was thinking, well, how many blankets does a baby really need? 2 blankets? 3 tops? Now, almost one year after that moment, I can tell you that babies need numerous types of blankets!!!
Here is why: Basically you need one for the winter (thick) and one for the summer/spring, one to carry with the stroller and one to leave in the car. If you share more than one car then it is always good to leave one in each car. One that you leave at Granma's house and one just in case. To be honest, it's always in your best interest to over pack when it comes to in fact and toddlers because they are constantly spitting up spilling food and simply having messes all the way around.
So as you can see, there are truly no such thing as too many blankets. You can always find a good use for a good baby blanket and I have used every single one I received.
But the best one though and definitely the most sentimental and charming blanket was the personalized baby blankets I got from my mother, wonderful Granma, with my daughter's name on it along with the date of birth.
This has been a special gift especially due to the fact that we don't live close to my parents and they don't get to see her that often. But almost every time we connect on the skype they can see her holding that blanket and those sweet little gestures mean the world to grandparents especially.
I know that I will keep this blanket for years to come and will give it to her along with stories about that time she was just a little baby. It's a simple overall gift that has many cherish able qualities.
Personalized baby blankets could be used in different purposes. Because of this, the gift giver should see to it that he not only gives for the sake of giving. Rather he is giving personalized baby blankets that are multi-purpose and multi-functional.
