You also need to know the right style of tuxedo or suit that you want. If in case you have no idea how the new ones look like nowadays, you can look for some new designs over the internet. I am pretty sure that you have an idea what type of suit or tuxedo will suit your body type.
Another thing that you need to take into account is whether you are willing to shell out some serious amount of money to buy a tuxedo or a suit. Perhaps it would be smarter to just rent. But will you be able to use it more often if you own one? You should know if it would be smarter to rent or to buy a new one instead.
Another thing that you should know is which shade to choose. Do you want to stand out among the crowd or do you want to blend in with everyone else? It should be your call since it will be your day as well. Do you prefer white over black or would you prefer to just stick with the old fashioned colors? I think you should coordinate more with your bride in terms of the color coding because you definitely do not want to have an explosion of colors on your wedding day. Elton John suits, anyone?
