2. Tri-fold brochures
This type of brochure is the most convenient and easy to handle. It is basically a single sheet of paper folded into three. Tri-fold brochures are the ones that are usually handed personally to your prospect clients as product or information guide.
3. Z-fold brochures
One of the three standard brochure folds, including the half-fold and tri-fold, it gives you a similar 6 panel brochure. It opens up easily and makes for easy reading and handling, opening up like an accordion.
Z-fold brochures can be used in small or large paper sizes. It can be patterned out to make small maps or one large picture made more compact by this fold.
4. Gate-fold brochures
This is one of the many possible folds you can apply to your print materials. Gatefolds are more commonly seen for invitations, holding details or messages that reveals itself when the two adjacent flaps or panels are opened. It is called as such because the fold requires you to open both flaps like gates to be able to access the whole panel it is covering.
This type of brochure is capable of including formal presentation graphs and images when paired with a large-sized brochure. For one, this can be seen in the field of real estate marketing or restaurants & hospitality, among others.
5. Folders and inserts- Folders are the most excellent way to organize your materials. They have flaps on the inside to hold on pieces of paper which are called the inserts. They are capable of organizing your inserts as well as protecting them. Inserts work best with folders as it gives emphasize on what your target recipients would need to see.
6. Pamphlets and booklets
Brochures are sometimes interchanged with pamphlets and booklets. These, more often than not, are multi-page materials that acts as catalogs, mini newsletters, guides, and even manuals. The space accommodates enough space for you to use brochures as part of an instruction manual kit and so on.
