Now dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with this, but your success when it comes to selling a product is down to your marketing, and thats not as easy as you may think.
First you need to decide on a product that you have a good knowledge of, for example, if you are into sport, pick a sports related product to market. You then need to decide how you want to market your product. Now there are two things you need to consider when marketing your products... do I want to do it for free or not for free! As you can probably imagine putting your hand in your pocket is going to get you a bit further than just relying on free marketing methods! But nevertheless, there are very effective ways of marketing for free!

FREE Arguably the best way to market an affiliate product or program for free is by creating a video! Video marketing is a great way to promote a product or business easily, and effectively! You can create a short informative video and simply post it online to Google video, YouTube etc.
Another great way is to set up a blog! When you start blogging you need to bear in mind that some blog websites such as wordpress, do not allow you to promote or even link affiliate products in your site. So make sure you pick one that allows you to market your product!
Another very effective way is to write articles related to your product. For example if you were marketing a body building product then write an article on body building and insert your link at the end of the article and in your bio box.
NOT FREE You really could go wild when it comes to marketing a product by spending money! So here are just a few... creating a website solely for that particular product is a great way to put that product out there. If you search for anything in Google and look down the right hand side at all of the adverts, the chances are if you click on some of them they will be a website for one particular product. Now that product may not even be owned by the website owner, they maybe just affiliating it. But see how professional it looks, they may have just copied the owners site, with permission of course!
Another good way is by using solo ads and safelists. Now these can vary in price, from $2 to $200 but they do work if you are consistent with your marketing. As a final mention, Ill drop in Google adwords as this follows on from the website idea. If you have a website for your product, a great way to make your product be seen on the search engines is by using adwords. If its seen its obviously more likely to get clicks!
